LIneA Science Platform¶

The LIneA Science Platform (LSP) is LIneA's online platform that brings together services and tools for accessing, visualizing, and analyzing astronomical data hosted by the institution. It integrates multiple applications into a unified environment, facilitating the work of researchers and collaborators across different projects.

The platform is available at https://scienceplatform.linea.org.br/lsp.

IDAC-BR Science Platform¶

The Brazilian IDAC Science Platform is an instance of the LIneA Science Platform dedicated to the Brazilian Independent Data Access Center (IDAC-BR). It provides the services specific to the LSST/Rubin project and will serve as the primary access point to the data hosted by the Brazilian IDAC for scientists with data access rights within the Rubin collaboration.

The platform is available at https://scienceplatform.linea.org.br/idac.

During the preparation phase leading up to LSST operations, the platform already provides access to public datasets from other astronomical surveys, such as the Dark Energy Survey (DES), allowing the community to become familiar with the tools and workflows that will be used throughout the survey's operational phase.

Access to LIneA Services and Platforms¶

The table below summarizes the access levels to LIneA services and platforms according to the user profile.

Unregistered Users: Users in this category can access some platforms without creating a LIneA account. However, access is limited.

Registered LIneA Users: By creating an account in our environment, users gain access to a broader range of services, platforms, and resources.

LSST Members¶

Members of the LSST Collaboration who register through the dedicated registration process for LSST members gain access to the collaboration's platforms, as well as exclusive resources available only to LSST members.

Access to LIneA OnDemand (HPC)¶

Access to LIneA OnDemand, the platform used to access LIneA's High-Performance Computing (HPC) environment, is subject to internal approval. For more information, see the Processing section.
